Extension of timelines for filing various forms under the Income Tax Act 1961

In continuation to earlier post about various extensions in the time limits for filing varied forms, the Central Board of Direct Taxes vide its circular no. 15/2021 dated 3rd August 2021 has announced further extensions as below:

Again, due to non-availability of the utility of certain forms, their due dates have been extended as below:

  • Intimation by a Pension Fund in respect of investments made in India in Form 10BBB for the quarter ending June 2021 may be furnished by 30th September 2021 instead of 31st July 2021.
  • Intimation by a Sovereign Wealth Fund in respect of investments made in India in Form II SWF for the quarter ending June 2021 may be furnished by 30th September 2021 instead of 31st July 2021.
